This summary of the results from our survey of US & UK residents' attitudes to the current system of static expiry dates shows the degree to which people trust the dates, when they ignore them, what they would be open to as a fix to the system. While attitudes on either side of the Atlantic are similar in many respects there are significant differences towards their willingness to ignore expiry dates, and eat food whose time is up, and their attitude towards solutions.
